This easy peanut butter mousse is deliciously fluffy and perfectly sweet- and so quick to make! With just 4 dairy free ingredients and a refined sugar free option, this lush peanut butter mousse is the ultimate peanut butter lover’s dessert! We’re also layering it with crushed homemade gluten free Oreos for even extra decadence!

- 2 cups (454 g) vegan cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar or coconut sugar or maple sugar
- 1 cup (240 mL) vegan heavy cream or coconut cream, cold
- 1 cup (250 g) creamy peanut butter
- Optional: 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- Toppings: crushed homemade gluten free vegan Oreos, whipped cream, and peanut butter cups
Instructions
- Prep: Measure out all ingredients.
- Whisk: In a large bowl with a hand mixer or in a stand mixer with whisk attachment, cream together the cream cheese and sugar until fluffy, about 3-4 minutes. The sugar should start to dissolve into the cream cheese. Add in the heavy cream and vanilla extract, and mix on high speed until the heavy cream starts to fluff, about 3 minutes.
- Add in the peanut butter: Stop the mixer and pour in the peanut butter. Mix again until incorporated, stopping the mixer to scrape the bottom as needed.
- Assemble the mousse cups: Scoop the peanut butter mousse into serving cups and top with crushed Oreos if desired. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy! Top with homemade whipped cream and peanut butter cups. Enjoy!
Notes
Refined sugar free: Swap in coconut sugar or maple sugar for the granulated sugar.
