If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been on a kick with sharing some of my favorite plant based protein packed breakfasts.
So naturally, I decided to roll out with a few more plant based protein breakfasts, but this time, we’re going savory!
Okay okay, only on two. Come on now, you know me.

These deliciously satisfying protein packed vegan breakfast burritos are the ultimate healthy breakfast option for your busy school or work morning. Made in under 5 minutes and packed with at least 15 grams of protein per wrap, these are going to be your go-to morning eats!
What can you eat for breakfast on a plant based diet?
While I don’t personally label myself, I would say that I eat a fairly plant based diet, and when I first started out doing so, I was sort of stumped on making sure I had enough protein if I were choosing a plant based option!
The fact is, you can get ample amounts of protein on a plant based diet. You just need to know what foods are protein packed!
That’s why I decided to showcase how many different plant based foods are full of satiating protein through these vegan breakfast wraps!
The Ultimate Vegan Breakfast Burritos
I’m so excited for this recipe twist because I got to partner with one of my favorite gluten free wrap brands, Toufayan, to make the ultimate high protein vegan breakfast burrito.
What’s really cool about these gluten free wraps is that they each actually contain at least 4 grams of protein already.
Now I’m not a dietitian nor nutritionist, but I feel like that’s pretty good for a gluten free wrap!
Then we have the fillings.
I have three flavor combos that all fall under the gluten free vegan breakfast category so if you have any allergies, these are great!
Trust me when I say that these healthy protein vegan breakfast burritos are far from boring and far from tasteless!
How to make a vegan breakfast burrito
First we’ll go over the assembly of the wrap, then we’ll discuss flavor options.
To wrap a gluten free burrito using the Toufayan gluten free wraps:
- Begin by placing the main ingredients into the wrap lengthwise, like in the photo below.
- Fold the width side of the wrap in and begin rolling the wrap lengthwise away from you, starting where the ingredients are nearest to the edges.
- Keep rolling tightly until finished.
- Serve and enjoy!

1 . Yogurt and Berry Protein Vegan Breakfast Burrito
Of course, you knew I was going to include a sweet vegan breakfast burrito because I just love everything sweet! This burrito is filled with a dairy free yogurt mixed with a pea protein and topped with fresh fruit. The total protein count for this sweet wrap is 20 grams.
2 . Moroccan Lentil Avocado Vegan Breakfast Burrito
Full of flavor and spice, your morning will be far from boring with this lentil wrap! Packed with a blend of Moroccan spices, lentils, and avocado, you’v got your healthy fats, carbs, and protein! The total protein count for tor this wrap is 16 grams of protein.
3 . Black Bean and Sweet Potato Vegan Breakfast Burrito
This one is one of my favorites! This vegan burrito is stuffed with a mixture of mashed sweet potato, black beans, and salsa, all wrapped together with fresh spinach and an actual spinach wrap! This wrap comes out to a total of 15 grams of protein.

Ingredients
Yogurt Berry Vegan Breakfast Wrap:
- 1 Toufayan Gluten Free Original Wrap
- 3/4 cup dairy free yogurt
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 cup berries
- 1–2 tbsp pea protein
Moroccan Spiced Lentil Avocado Vegan Breakfast Burrito:
- 1 Toufayan Gluten Free Savory Tomato Wrap
- 1/2 cup cooked lentils
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 sliced avocado
- 1/2 cup spinach
Black Bean and Sweet Potato Vegan Breakfast Burrito:
- 1 Toufayan Gluten Free Spinach Wrap
- 1/2 cup cooked sweet potato
- 1/2 cup black beans
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup spinach
Instructions
Yogurt Berry Vegan Breakfast Wrap:
- Mix the dairy free yogurt together with the pea protein and set aside.
- Warm the Toufayan gluten free wrap in the microwave for 30 seconds to make it pliable.
- Slice half of a banana in half again, and layer with the dairy free yogurt and berries.
- Fold the short sides of the burrito in and roll lengthwise.
- Serve and enjoy!
Moroccan Spiced Lentil Avocado Vegan Breakfast Burrito:
- Start by mixing the cooked lentils together with the spices. Set aside.
- Warm the Toufayan gluten free wrap in the microwave for 30 seconds to make it pliable.
- Place the spinach in the wrap lengthwise, then top with sliced avocado and the spiced lentils.
- Fold the short sides of the burrito in and roll lengthwise.
- Serve and enjoy!
Black Bean and Sweet Potato Vegan Breakfast Burrito:
- Start by mixing the mashed sweet potato, black beans, and salsa together. Set aside.
- Warm the Toufayan gluten free wrap in the microwave for 30 seconds to make it pliable.
- Assemble the wrap by placing the spinach lengthwise, then topping with the mashed sweet potato black bean mixture.
- Fold the short sides of the burrito in and roll lengthwise.
- Serve and enjoy!
