The Banana Baking Crew Challenge – October 2024 Recipe
Welcome to the third monthly Banana Baking Crew Challenge- a monthly challenge where we bake one recipe together, and at the end of the month, a winner will be selected at random for a prize!
Happy October! Oh I’m so ready for this month. We’re well into the ‘ber months, and I thought what better way to celebrate October than with pumpkin tiramisu!
But before we dive in, welcome new Banana Bunch members who might be curious as to what the Banana Baking Crew is!
What is the Banana Baking Crew?
Well, I’m glad you asked 🙂 And so glad you’re here!
I’ve loved seeing all of you submit photos of the recipes you’ve made from The Banana Diaries daily. It’s one of the best parts about this job, and I still pinch myself that I’m now getting emails, DM’s, and comments from readers all over the globe making and sharing these vegan recipes.
So I decided what better way to celebrate you all then to bring our community together with monthly baking challenge where this time, you can enter to win a prize!
On the first of every month, I’ll share a recipe (either new or from The Banana Diaries archives!) that serves to build our baking skills together and share our creations! You’ll submit a photo of your creation, which I’ll compile and add a collection of everyone’s creations here (anonymously of course!).
At the end of the month, I’ll select a winner at random who then gets to choose between a $150 Amazon, Whole Foods, or Williams Sonoma gift card!
How to participate:
It’s so easy, here’s how to enter:
- Sign up for the newsletter: This way you’ll be notified of the new recipe directly to your inbox. You’ll also learn about other community activities and new recipes that are published! Only newsletter subscribers are eligible to participate in the Banana Baking Crew.
- Make the recipe from the current month: Each month will be a new recipe!
- Take a photo and send it to me! Once you’ve baked the challenge recipe, snap a photo of it (doesn’t have to be pretty!) and email it to me at [email protected] to be entered.
But please see FAQs for participants outside of the U.S.!
You can of course leave a review and a photo on the recipe page itself, as well as share on social! We’re not doing extra entries just so that we can keep track of everyone’s entry in one place, but the spreading of vegan recipes is always appreciated 🙂
On the last day of each month, I’ll select a winner at random from all of the recipes and contact them via email to select their prize of a $150 gift to either Amazon, Whole Foods, or Williams Sonoma 🙂

Unbelievably Vegan Pumpkin Tiramisu Recipe
This ridiculously delicious vegan pumpkin tiramisu features espresso-soaked homemade eggless ladyfingers, creamy spiced pumpkin mascarpone cream, fresh dairy free whipped cream and a dusting of pumpkin spice! Basically pumpkin spice latte meets tiramisu, and it’s the best way to eat pumpkin.
