Easy Paleo Chocolate Fudge (Vegan)
Easy and delicious Paleo chocolate fudge made from only 4 ingredients and entirely vegan with a Keto option! The perfect low sugar treat for any occasion!
I don’t know about you, but there is something so incredibly addicting about eating homemade Paleo fudge.
Maybe it’s how bite-sized the pieces are so it’s just insanely easy to pop one in after the other. Maybe it’s how rich the chocolate it so you’re actually getting that nice mood boost from the cacao.
Maybe it’s just because fudge is literally the best treat and should be around the house at all times!
Either way, you’re going to dig this easy vegan fudge recipe made from only 4 ingredients!
Yep, it’s pretty incredible 🙂 Plus this fudge is completely Paleo, dairy free, refined sugar free, low sugar, and with an option to go entirely Keto!
But don’t worry, the taste is all there, and the texture is unreal!
What are the main ingredients in homemade Paleo vegan fudge?
Like my Paleo vegan almond butter cups, this Paleo vegan fudge is similar in that it’s made with very simple ingredients.
For this healthy fudge recipe, you’ll need:
- 100% chocolate or Paleo vegan friendly chocolate (like Enjoy Life)
- Coconut oil
- Almond butter
- Maple syrup
That’s it! The only note I have is use smooth almond butter here, if you don’t want a crunch vegan fudge 🙂
How to make Vegan and Paleo Chocolate Fudge
Making vegan and Paleo fudge is actually a heck of a lot simpler than making traditional homemade fudge.
I don’t know why, but back in the day when I would make regular fudge, I would always mess it up!
My experience with this homemade Paleo vegan fudge is quite the opposite however 🙂 It’s simple to combine, and the only hard part is waiting for it to chill in the fridge!
So to start, make sure that your coconut oil is melted and hot. We’re basically going to start by making a chocolate ganache (but you’ll see that in a second!). Then:
- Add the chocolate chips to the melted coconut oil in one large bowl, and mix the chocolate chips until they’re completely melted.
- Add in the maple syrup and almond butter, and continue to mix your fudge until all of the ingredients are well combined.
- Pour the fudge into a parchment lined 8×8 baking pan, and place the pan into the freezer to chill for 1-2 hours.
How incredibly simple is that?!
I highly recommend topping your vegan Paleo fudge with a little sprinkle of flaked sea salt 😉 Makes everything 10x fancier, I swear!
How to make this Keto Fudge
If you’re looking for an even lower sugar treat, you can easily turn this homemade fudge recipe into an easy and delicious Keto fudge with a few options!
- Swap out the maple syrup for allulose at an equal ratio.
- Swap out the maple syrup for about 1/4 cup stevia.
- Omit the maple syrup all together!
I will admit that the last option is on the richer, more bitter side, but it isn’t so bad because it’s cut with the sweetness from the almonds.
If you’re going the Keto fudge route or not, you’re going to love this recipe!

Aw thank you so much!! So glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Can peanut butter be used to orrrr?
Absolutely!!
As a broke college student, the simple ingredients made this recipe so much more delicious!
Oh my goodness I LOVE that!!! So happy to hear it!! Enjoy!
Delicious and rich! I used p.butter instead of almond and that added a different layer of flavour so if you’re a p.b lover do it! (I am!). I let them set for two hours, cut into 36 pieces and have had to bring them to friends’ homes to help me eat them or I’ll end up finishing the whole pan myself! Thanks for the reciepe 🙂 it was thoroughly enjoyed.
Aw I’m so beyond happy!! That’s wonderful to hear!! Enjoy it all 🙂
If I don’t have coconut oil, could I substitute it with something else?
Yes! You can use vegan butter!
